nature trip
I've got some really great friends. This blog is all about what makes friendship so special.
My friends are all unique. Some are hilarious, others are smart, and some are the best listeners I know. We all have different hobbies and interests, but that's part of what makes our friendships work so well. We appreciate each other's differences.
May 18, one of my friends suggested that we go on a nature trip/picnic, and we were happily planning it. The next day, we woke up in the morning to prepare to go to our friend's farm. We walked towards the farm, and when we arrived, we took a break because we were tired from walking. After a few minutes, one of our friends suggested that we gather some coconuts, and he quickly climbed the tree. After we drank the coconut water, we played cards for a while. After playing, we started cooking because it was time to eat. We had a boodle fight for lunch! We spread out a large banana leaf and filled it with pancit canton, hotdogs, eggs, and rice. We all ate with our hands, laughing and sharing stories as we ate. The messy and happy situation was so much fun, and it created another beautiful memory of our friendship. It reminds us that sometimes the simplest experiences are the most memorable.
Having good friends means having people you can rely on. They're there for the good times and the tough times. They'll make you laugh when you're feeling down and cheer you on when you succeed. That's what friendship is all about – sharing life's ups and downs with people who care about you.
